I’m addict, of every stripe…blessed to live in “recovery,” 

you know…a day at a time, 

for over 40 years.

And MUSIC.... yours, mine, ours... is my drug of choice. 

My Favorite Addiction. 

the addiction that not only doesn't wanna kill me... 

but that makes me (f*$%#!g) ALIVE.

Anahata is my "favorite…" 

of the Seven Chakras. 

The Center. 

Anahata... Matters. 

Anahata is the Heart chakra, in the middle of the seven and in Sanskrit means "unhurt, unstruck and unbeaten."

 It's about the "unstruck" sound made when two forces come together and integrate, resonate, and make an altogether new "sound"... 

without confrontation. 

Opposite… but not in opposition. 

The Yin with and within the Yang. 

And the Yang equally with and within the Yin. 

Not against it 

To me, its about the music that can only happen, 

can only be actually heard…

when Singer and the Listener come together. 

One breathes out as the other breathes in. 

Hearing, feeling each other... 

as one Tribe. 

And then the cycle is reversed. 

And something altogether new emerges. 

For both.     For All.

Trained as an Anglican choirboy and a classical windplayer studying clarinet, bassoon and all the saxes... and after decades of work and joy as a solo and ensemble vocalist in all kinds of settings... today, as phargeaux, I've made a lotta shit. For a long damn time. Some of it is possibly… cool. It’’s like a tic. A jones. Makin music…

These days i make original, eclectic electronic tracks and songs that move my heart,  come from my heart and hopefully will touch some of y'ours...
